  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup raspberry jam (seedless preferred)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and salt, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  5. Roll portions of dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Create indents in each ball using your thumb or back of a spoon to hold the raspberry jam.
  7. Fill each indent with about ½ teaspoon of raspberry jam without overfilling.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool completely on a wire rack before dusting with powdered sugar if desired.
