  • 12 oz steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz shell pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook shell pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season steak bites with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  4. Lower the heat to medium; add unsalted butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer; gradually whisk in Parmesan until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add cooked shell pasta to the sauce, tossing gently to coat. If necessary, add reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
  7. Serve topped with steak bites and any juices from the plate.
