  • 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1½ cups crushed black tortilla chips (for coating)
  • 48 mini pretzel sticks (for spider legs)
  • 24 small black olives or sliced olives (for eyes)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to firm up for easier rolling.
  3. Once chilled, scoop out portions and roll into 1-inch balls. Coat each ball in crushed black tortilla chips.
  4. Insert four pretzel sticks into each ball for spider legs.
  5. Press small pieces of olives into each ball to create spooky eyes.
  6. Chill again until ready to serve or let sit at room temperature for a creamier texture.
