  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)
  • 12 tablespoons warm water (to thin)
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes or sriracha (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, soy sauce (or tamari), rice vinegar, lime juice, and honey or maple syrup until mostly smooth.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger until well combined.
  3. Gradually add warm water, whisking until you achieve your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust flavors as needed by adding more lime juice for tanginess or chili flakes/sriracha for heat.
  5. Serve immediately or transfer to a jar and refrigerate for up to one week.
