  • 500g chicken breast
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 200g mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Prepare rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil and sauté sliced chicken until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant, then add broccoli and mushrooms. Cook for 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  4. Return the chicken to the pan and stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and optional chili flakes.
  5. Pour in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice.
