  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat melted butter with eggs and granulated sugar until combined.
  3. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture; stir in chocolate chips if desired.
  4. Drop rounded spoonfuls of batter onto prepared sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 15-20 minutes until edges are set but centers are slightly soft.
  5. Allow cookies to cool on sheets for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
